Is it just me, or is this time of year totally crazy!?! Holiday parties, community involvement, approximately three hours of sunlight during the day (OK, so it’s a bit more than that…but you get the point). December also seems to be a time when we look back on the year and reflect on what’s worked and what hasn’t in our personal and professional lives. Undoubtedly, 2009 has brought many opportunities and challenges to us all. However, despite the stress and changes, I know I can always rely on the one person who truly matters the most to me…my mom.
My mom is incredibly generous and always finds a way to give back locally and globally. For that, I will always admire her. I think that is also my favorite thing about JohnstonWells. Despite everyone’s busy schedules, we all find ways to give back to the community that we value.
However, if you’re reading this you probably love the Internet. So with a little help from my mom – a true Baby-Boomer Internet wiz, I’ve compiled a few great sites where you can give back to your local or global community this holiday season. The best part is that you can make a difference and never leave the warmth of your home.
