Easy-to-understand guides help troops install pad kits to better protect their heads
DENVER - SKYDEX Technologies, Inc. and Kwikpoint today announced a newly-designed visual language guide for soldiers using SKYDEX’s PASGT (Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops) Helmet Pad Suspension System. The PASGT helmet is used by millions of troops around the world.
Kwikpoint’s visual language technology employs precise, clear, innovative custom-designed graphics in its pocket-sized visual language translators to instantly cut through language barriers and enhance communication between speakers of different languages in military, medical, law enforcement, travel and other applications. By adapting this technology to SKYDEX’s PASGT Helmet-Pad Upgrade kit instruction guide, soldiers can easily and rapidly install SKYDEX retrofit helmet pads into the upgraded PASGT helmets.

Kwikpoint Visual Language Translators are fold-out, multi-panel cards printed on virtually-indestructible Yupo paper and deliver survival-level language skills through pictures and phonetics-based command and control and other key phrases in Iraqi Arabic, Farsi, Kurdish, Pashto and Dari. English, French and Spanish versions are currently available.
SKYDEX’s unique opposing twin-hemisphere pad design protects the head by dramatically improving the impact protection of PASGT helmets.
