Infoture Inc. and MakeBeliever have selected JohnstonWells Public Relations to provide strategic counsel in two new product launches, as well as provide media and community relations support.
Infoture – Founded in 2004, Infoture, Inc. is the developer of the LENA System. The LENA System, a remarkable new technology, identifies and analyzes adult words and child vocalizations, and provides parents with critical feedback reports on a child’s language environment and development. Infoture comprises a team of scientists skilled in computerized speech and speaker recognition, microelectronics, statistical research, and children’s language acquisition and development. Infoture has collected the world’s largest database of spontaneous parent-child speech interaction, which will be used by leading researchers around the globe.
By combining technologies not even available two years ago, Infoture has gathered and analyzed the normative data allowing LENA users to measure and track their progress. The LENA technology has been made possible by recent advances in microelectronics and the over 5 billion dollar investment in the research and development of speech recognition tools. Infoture is located in Boulder, Colorado and has 40 employees. For more information about Infoture, please visit www.infoture.org. MakeBeliever – MakeBeliever Productions, a Denver-based multimedia company co-founded by longtime friends and entrepreneurs Ted Taggart and David Wallace, is changing the way people exchange online greetings. The co-founders’ adventure started when they recognized a distinct gap in the Web 2.0 marketplace: traditional, animated e-greetings offer limited personalization and do not provide truly creative options or choice in content creation. JohnstonWells is working closely with MakeBeliever to develop a product launch strategy, scheduled for the holiday season. |
