Mayor Hickenlooper reveals mystery Will character as Goodwill

Goodwill Industries of Denver celebrates it 90th anniversary this November. In response to the mysterious Happy Birthday Will billboards, Web site and birthday cake deliveries, the Denver community has been asking, “Who is Will?”

Mayor John Hickenlooper revealed that Will is Goodwill Industries of Denver, at a party at the Governor’s Mansion on November 12.  More than 150 community members and business leaders joined in congratulating Goodwill on 90 years of outstanding service to the Denver community.

With help from Tim Marquez, CEO of Venoco Oil, Mark Randall, former Denver Nuggets player and current community ambassador, Sam Adams, comedian and Rocky Mountain News columnist and many Denver students, guests learned that Goodwill is much more than retail.
