Leadership Denver Marks its 35th Anniversary
Tuesday, 10 February 2009 17:27

This year, the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation (DMCLF) marks the 35th Anniversary of its Leadership Denver program. LD aims to foster civic leadership and increased cooperation among Denver’s private, public and non-profit sectors. To celebrate, DMCLF is profiling dozens of Colorado leaders who have participated in the program throughout its history. In recognition of the tremendous work DMCLF has done for the Denver community, JohnstonWells is focusing our 2009 pro bono work on the 35th Anniversary Oral History Project and celebration.

JohnstonWells has developed a website to house the oral histories of the alumni, who are being profiled throughout 2009. We’ll also be filming several alumni for a series of special video features on the impact of the program.

JohnstonWells has a long history with DMCLF. Our founder and CEO Gwin Johnston was a member of the inaugural Leadership Denver class. Our president GG Johnston was a member of the 2006 class. Over the years, many members of our staff have participated in, and learned invaluable lessons from this program.
