All the Asian partners attended an Asian IPREX Roundtable in Hong Kong in April. They were joined by Kathy Tunheim, global president for IPREX, and Gwin Johnston, who is former president of IPREX North America.
Partners from China, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, India, Australia, Japan and New Zealand attended the meeting. Johnston said the most interesting thing she learned during the two-day conference was that China, with its 1.3 billion people is a big market unto itself and that Chinese manufacturers can make great profits by just selling their products in China.
