Engage ’08—Fast Track to Your Career

Join your fellow students for the first annual Zel Grebe career fair, Engage ’08, sponsored by the PRSA Colorado Chapter. This day-long event will take place on Saturday, November 1, and features keynote speaker Gary McCormick, APR, Fellow PRSA, director of partnership development for HGTV, Scripps Networks. Mr. McCormick has been nominated as the 2009 chair-elect of the Public Relations Society of America. A panel discussion will educate students on the various disciplines of public relations, and afternoon workshops will provide tips on building resumes, effective interviewing, and how to impress your first employer. Amy Johnson, president of the PRSA Colorado Chapter, will close the event with “How PRSA Can Further Your Career.” The event is being held at the Grand Ballroom, University of Denver, and a $10 registration fee includes a boxed lunch.
